What is an electric Share bike (Tier) and how do I activate the service?

The Electric bike is a rental bicycle you use to make the last leg of your journey. Your employer decides whether you can use the Electric Sub bike.

Activate the Electric Deelfiets in NS GO

1. Go to 'Services'.
2. Click on Electric Shared Bike in the overview of available services.
3. Click on your Business Card Number and check it is correct.
4. Choose the budget.
5. Accept the terms and conditions.
6. Click on 'Continue'.

The application is usually approved immediately. Then you can immediately rent an Electric share bike.

Where and how do I rent an Electric Share Bike?

There are over 2200 electric share bikes available at various locations in the Netherlands.

Among them, you can go to several locations in Utrecht, Nieuwegein, Eindhoven, Veldhoven, Zeist and Odijk.

1. Go to the NS app and log in with your business account.
2. Choose nearby, at the bottom of your screen.
3. Find an available TIER bike and choose 'Ride with TIER'.
   Note: activate your ride only if you are near the bike.
4. Accept the terms and conditions.

You can use the electric share bike for a maximum of two hours and end the ride at any time in the NS app. Make sure you park your bike in one of the designated parking zones. These can be recognized by the blue P's on the map in the app.
