How do I comply with the reporting obligation for work-related mobility? (WPM)

Does your organization have 100 or more employees? If so, you are required to report on your employees' business travel and commuting. This is known as the Work-Related Mobility Reporting Obligation (WPM). In this report, you must provide the total number of kilometers traveled, broken down by mode of transport and fuel type. Additionally, you must differentiate between commuting and business travel.

Preparing Your Report

The data you need is outlined in the Work-Related Mobility Data Collection Guide. This document explains how to collect the necessary information. Of course, NS Go helps you generate the correct report.

How Does NS Go Help?

In NS Go, your organization's traveled kilometers are collected in a CO₂ report. These trips are then categorized by commuting vs. business travel, as well as by mode of transport and fuel type, such as a hybrid car, gasoline-powered motorcycle, or public transport.

In addition to the annual overview, the reports also include a quarterly breakdown.

What Do You Need to Do?

You have the option to exclude certain employees. This is a choice you can make yourself, but it's not mandatory. Employees working less than 20 hours per week, as well as shareholders, do not need to be included in the report. For a full overview, refer to page 10 of the Work-Related Mobility Data Collection Guide.

Ready to Submit Your Report?

You can download the CO₂ report from NS Go per Chamber of Commerce (KVK) number if configured. To submit it correctly, use the form provided by the Dutch government.
