Self Services are services where you pay the costs yourself first. Later, these costs will be reimbursed through your salary. There are two ways to settle the costs:
- Automatically, via your NS Go linked address.
- Manually, by uploading the payment receipt yourself in the registrations.
Your employer decides which Self Services are available to you. In the ‘Services’ section, you can see which services you can use. Self Services are identified by the term ‘selfservices’.
Using Self Services with an NS Go linked address
With this option, the costs are automatically settled in NS Go. Follow these steps:
- Create an NS Go linked address.
- First activate a Self Service in NS Go:
- Go to ‘Services’.
- Click on ‘Add a service’.
- Choose a selfservice.
- Select the budget for the trips (usually ‘commute’).
- Use your NS Go linked address when setting up the service.
- Accept the terms and continue.
- Create an account with your NS Go linked address for the Self Service.
- The usage costs will be automatically forwarded to NS Go. You will receive a copy of the invoice on your business email address.
Processing an invoice can take up to 5 working days. You can check the status under ‘Registrations’.
Using Self Services with a payment receipt
For some Self Services, you need to declare the costs yourself by uploading a payment receipt. Here’s how it works:
- First activate a Self Service in NS Go:
- Go to ‘Services’.
- Click on ‘Add a service’.
- Choose a selfservice.
- Select the budget for the trips (usually ‘commute’).
- Motivate your request.
- Accept the terms and continue.
- After activation, you can upload invoices:
- Go to your NS Go dashboard and click ‘Add registration’.
- Choose the ‘Payment receipt’ tab.
- Upload the payment receipt.
- Fill in the form.
- Select the budget for the trips (usually ‘commute’).
- Accept the terms and continue.
Your payment receipt is now registered. NS Go processes this within 5 working days. You can check the status under ‘Registrations’.
