How do I create a trip registration?

In NS Go you can indicate which trips you have made. These trips are created per route and are saved so that you can easily register them later.

Where can I register trips?

  • In the Registrations tab, click the 'Add registration' button.
  • If you have registered your trips in NS Go before, these will be sorted for you based on the number of registrations in the past month.
  • To register, click on one of these trips, and then click on the day you travelled in the calendar.

How do I create a new trip?

  • If you want to create a new trip click the 'New trip' button. Here you fill in some details.
  • From and to which address you travelled.
    • The number of kilometres is calculated using the TomTom Route Planner.
    • Current short-term roadworks or traffic congestion are ignored.
    • The calculation is based on the fastest route, ignoring toll roads.
  • Which means of transport you used and which fuel type the vehicle has. For example, "petrol" or "electric".
  • Same return trip is checked by default. If you made a one-way trip or travelled a different return route, uncheck this option.
    • If you travelled a different return route, then click 'Add new route'.
    • Here you can add a new route, such as a different return journey.
  • Next, choose the purpose of this trip. Is it a commute or a business trip?
  • Then click 'Save'

You will now see that the route is also displayed under 'Recent trips', allowing you to register it directly on the calendar.
